The 2012 annual conference of the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 8-12, 2012. For more information, you can visit the CoLAP website over the next few months for further information.
You should be aware that Canada has become much more stringent regarding entry by ANYONE who has been convicted of a crime, including any past DUI conviction. If you have a prior conviction, you should check the Canadian immigration Frequently Asked Questions and the Overcoming Criminal Inadmissibility web sites to make arrangements PRIOR to your travel. Failure to do so could result in your being refused entry to Canada.
